Love, Joy, Peace...

What we believe...

• We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired and is the revealed will of God. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Deuteronomy 4:1-2)

• We believe in the three distinct persons of the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 3:21-22; II Corinthians 13:14)

• We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and took on human nature. He died for the remission of our sins and rose victoriously. (I Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 2:22-28, 13:28-38; John 1:1-3, 14; Matthew 1:18-23; Hebrews 1:1-3, 8-9; I John 3:5)

• We believe that to receive salvation, one must be born again by believing that Jesus Christ died for his/her sins. Then confess this belief verbally, and turn from sin by faith to obedience to Christ. (John 3:3, 7; Romans 10:9-10; I Peter 1:23)

• We believe that all believers are endowed with certain spiritual gifts and that these gifts are operational in this dispensation and are used to edify the saints. (Romans 12:4-8; I Corinthians 12:18-28)

• We believe in the giving of tithes and offerings for the support of the church and the work of the ministry. (Malachi 3:1-10; Deuteronomy 12:11; Proverbs 3:9-10; Luke 6:38; I Corinthians 9:6-8)

• We believe in water baptism as on outward show of one’s conversion, but not as an act of saving one’s soul. (Matthew 29:19; Acts 10:47-48)

• We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:3-5, 8, 2:4, 10:44-46; 19:2-6)

• We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the redemption of our physical bodies at the return of Christ to rapture the Church. (I Thessalonians 4:16, 17; I Corinthians 15:51-57; Titus 2:13)
